Of course, there is also the beginner’s slope serviced by a button lift from the village.
Two of the local restaurants are at the foot of the pistes, and make a great place to stop for lunch or for a ‘vin chaud’ at the end of the day. A little way up the main street, Restaurant La Sachette, with it’s large terrace and dining room steeped in history, offers excellent lunches and dinners.
For both keen skiers and novices alike, Tignes les Brévières is a perfect base for a Tignes skiing holiday or of course for a Tignes snowboarding holiday. A wander around this traditional Savoyard mountain village (dating back to the 13th century) reveals traditional stone farmhouses, narrow streets, and wooden chalets.
