Welcome to the Chalet Colettine

The Chalet Colettine comfortably sleeps up to twelve guests and is situated right in the heart of the alpine village of Tignes les Brevieres. This is a top quality catered chalet, located only sixty meters from the piste and lifts, avoiding steep walks or the necessity to be transported to the slopes as happens with the more remote chalets. Chalet Colettine is the nearest true chalet to the piste and lifts of Tignes les Brevieres. It is not a collection of apartments or rooms situated above shops, bars or restaurants, but an old farm house that has recently been carefully and lovingly renovated to the highest standards, incorporating many special touches, resulting in a welcoming ski base, full of charm. As can be seen from the photographs, natural materials have been used wherever possible. Timbered walls and superbly designed bathrooms are enhanced with tiles imported from Italy. From the moment you arrive, you can relax in our home from home and enjoy the best ski holiday ever, in style and comfort, with great food and wine, top chalet facilities, a friendly atmosphere, and direct access to some of the best skiing in the world in the Tignes & Val d’Isère winter resort.

The Accommodation

• Arrival
  On arrival, bags and skis can be unloaded directly outside the ski chalet, where staff will, whenever possible, help carry them to your rooms.

  The Chalet Colettine has two levels with bedrooms on both levels. Ski and boot storage is on the ground floor and the dining room, kitchen and sitting room are on the first floor.

• Dining Room / Sitting Room
  At the heart of the chalet is the large and luxurious dining and sitting room. We have not seen any other chalet in which the Alpine ambience is so wonderfully created. A hard days skiing, an excellent dinner, followed by an evening in front of the log fire in the Chalet Colettine must be the closest thing to heaven!

  The dining area, part of this huge room but with its own space, has a single large table to accommodate everyone.

• Bedrooms
  Chalet Colettine can comfortably take 12 guests. There are six bedrooms, three doubles, and three twins. All of the bedrooms are individually furnished and decorated to a very high standard. No two rooms are the same.

  On the ground floor, two bedrooms are doubles and two are twins, all en-suite, one with a large bath. The fifth bedroom, a double, is off the sitting room. Bedroom six is a large mezzanine over the sitting room, and as such can be disturbed by any noise from below. Bedrooms five and six share a bathroom.

• Heated Boot Rack
  There is a heated boot rack on the ground floor and a ski locker on the patio.
• Champagne Reception
  Before the evening meal on the day of your arrival, you will be welcomed to our ski chalet with a champagne reception (champagne – not sparkling white wine!), and canapés. You will be then be introduced to Ski Tignes les Brevieres and our staff.
• Aperitifs
  Each evening, you will be offered pre dinner drinks of beer, wine, spirits or juices.
• Breakfast
  A cooked breakfast is served on six mornings, supplemented by a choice of cereals, porridge, boiled eggs, bread, pastries, yoghurt, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, fruit juice, etc.
• Afternoon Tea
  Afternoon tea, consisting of tea, cakes and a healthy alternative in the form of fresh fruit salad, fruit bowl or dips will be available every day from 4.30 until 5.30 pm.
• Dinner
  Dinner is served at 8.00 pm. There is always a minimum of three courses and additionally a cheeseboard, with fresh meat or fish and vegetables whenever possible. Our chefs are encouraged to prepare healthy, wholesome meals; however, naughty but nice items do sometimes sneak onto the menu! Complimentary red and white wines are served in abundance throughout dinner.

  After dinner, enjoy a brandy and choose from a latte, cappuccino, espresso or freshly ground coffee. Hot chocolate, decaffeinated coffee and tea are also available.

  Dinner menus are rotated on a fortnightly basis, so those staying for two weeks will have plenty of variety.

• Saturday Candlelit Dinners
  On Saturdays, we try to create a special atmosphere and a candlelit dinner with liqueurs and chocolates may be followed by presentations.
• Parking
  There is a large car park, only two minutes walk from the chalet.
• Smoking
  Our ski chalets are all non-smoking.
